You & your role

As BI & Data Solution Architect, you know the secrets of designing future-proof data and Business Intelligence architectures. You shape the target architecture for data, reporting, analytics and data distribution within the CFO domain.

You connect data sources, data warehouse components, datasets and Business Intelligence solutions into an integrated landscape, with Power BI as the reporting and visualisation layer. Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, Business Intelligence specialists and architects, you turn current and future information needs into scalable architecture.

• Design an architecture that supports Standard Reporting, Custom Reporting, Analytics and Controlled Analytics Lab environments.
• Guide the transition from traditional on-premise architecture towards modern cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
• Connect data sources, datasets, data warehouse components and Business Intelligence solutions into one integrated ecosystem.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Design and maintain the solution architecture for Business Intelligence, reporting and data solutions within the CFO domain.
• Define target architectures that support data distribution, reporting and analytics while connecting different data sources and platforms.
• Guide architecture choices and transformation, balancing scalability, performance, security and manageability across the Business Intelligence landscape.

You develop architecture standards for data integration, data distribution, governance and information provision. You also advise stakeholders on architecture choices, technological developments and investments.

You & your talent

• At least 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Data Architect or in a comparable architecture role.
• Extensive experience with data warehousing, Business Intelligence platforms and data distribution.
• Deep knowledge of a Business Intelligence landscape ranging from SQL Server to Power BI.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proactive and confident in providing direction during complex transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at tactical, strategic and operational levels.

Experience with Databricks, SAP landscapes, Azure Data Platform technologies, data product management or data mesh principles is an advantage. Experience within a large enterprise or financial organisation and knowledge of Dutch are also considered an advantage.
