You and your job

Drive scalable and secure analytics and machine learning architecture as a Solution Architect by translating complex business needs into robust technical designs. In this role, you work closely with data scientists, engineers, platform teams, product management, and customers to build and guide enterprise-grade analytics platforms. As Solution Architect you contribute directly to reliable, compliant, and future-proof data and AI solutions across Rabobank.

Practical examples

• Designing architecture solutions for machine learning models that analyse customer events and signals. 
• Supporting teams in building and improving analytics platforms and machine learning environments on Azure.
• Translating requirements from product management, policy stakeholders and engineering teams into technical solutions.

• 36 hours per week. 
• You will work across 3 teams consisting of approximately 5 to 6 colleagues per team.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Define scalable and secure architecture by translating business requirements into robust analytics and machine learning solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Analyse existing landscapes to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and guide the evolution towards future-proof architectures.
• Enable and align squads by providing architectural guidance, ensuring adoption of best practices in MLOps, security, and software engineering.

The approximately 17 colleagues across the CDD Detection teams build and evolve machine learning capabilities that help analyse customer signals and events. You and your talent

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, solution architecture, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of analytics platforms and machine learning environments.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud architecture and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks on Azure and Azure Machine Learning Services.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD practices within cloud-based machine learning environments.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
• A natural collaborator who enjoys bringing people together and fostering teamwork.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
• A coaching mindset, with a talent for encouraging and supporting others in their growth.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with engineers, product managers, policymakers, and senior stakeholders alike.
