Tech Lead – Adherence

Within Rabobank, the Adherence Area plays a key role in enabling thousands of engineers to build secure, compliant, and reliable IT solutions at scale.

Our mission is to make Risk & Compliance processes clear, actionable, and seamlessly integrated into daily engineering workflows and ultimately in the entire Software Delivery Life Cycle. We translate complex regulatory and internal requirements into practical insights, platforms, and standardized solutions.

You & your role

• Drive the evolution of the Adherence platforms as Tech Lead – Adherence by setting technical direction, aligning teams across the policy requirements chain, and ensuring requirements translate into actionable solutions and insights across our integrated platforms.
• You combine deep technical expertise with a strong system-wide perspective. You understand how individual components contribute to the bigger picture and ensure that the end-to-end chain operates cohesively and effectively.
• Examples for practices
• Drive end-to-end architectural alignment across Requirements Manager, Solution Manager, Solution Compass and Deviation Manager.
• Improve adoption by helping teams translate policy requirements into reusable solutions and engineering practices.
• Enable actionable insights by strengthening integration with Nexa platforms across the adherence chain.

Top responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy and architecture across the full adherence chain ensuring scalable integration between all platform components.
• Coach multiple squads on end-to-end value thinking, enabling them to deliver impact beyond their own components.
• Ensure policy requirements are consistently translated into actionable insights, measurable outcomes, and improvements across platforms.
• You are part of the Adherence Area, working closely with engineering, risk, and security domains to make compliance actionable, scalable, and embedded in daily development workflows across Rabobank.

You & your talent

• Experience as a Tech Lead or senior engineer in complex environments
• Strong background in cloud platforms, CI/CD, and automation
• Experience designing scalable and integrated architectures
• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities
