We are looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to strengthen our IAM (Identity & Access Management) Domain Orchestration team.

You are a team player in the first place, learn fast in complex environments, you’re a great problem solver and have an improvement-driven mindset. You are someone who can easily switch between business and technology related questions and you know how to find your way in an organisation and work with different squads.

You & your position

There are only few places in the Netherlands where you can work in a large scale IAM environment, with a high level of complexity whilst using the latest advanced IAM technologies … and this is one of them! If you think you are ready to step up to this level; you may be in for a challenging ride!

Identity & Access Management (IAM) ensures that employees have exactly the access they need to do their job, nothing more and nothing less. In this way, Rabobank prevents (un)conscious risks or fraud and complies with laws and regulations. Within IAM we have a lot of different disciplines and capabilities. Domain Orchestration’s job is to provide comprehensive and secure IAM capabilities by facilitating automation of processes to increase the delivery speed and enforce compliance of IAM.

Continuous improvement is self-evident to you and you dare to be critical of the current working method and tooling. As an experienced engineer you feel responsible for bringing value to the organization and pro-activeness is your natural state. You like to help and teach more junior engineers and stand for high-quality products and everything that goes with them, making you a versatile member of the team.

Examples from practice

  • Designing and managing automated identity and access management processes for a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Translating business requirements and operational challenges into practical technical improvements.
  • Collaborating with different squads to analyse, refine and deliver high-quality solutions.

Facts & figures

  • 36 hours per week.
  • Working in a large-scale and highly complex identity and access management environment.
  • Over 48,000 Rabobank colleagues worldwide.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Set up and manage automated processes using your deep technical, as well as IAM knowledge.
  • Translate business requirements, problems and issues into smart solutions, tangible improvements and happy end users.
  • Work with colleagues in and outside the team to perform analysis and refinement of work items.

Together we achieve more than alone

We believe in the power of differences. By combining people's differences, we become an even better bank. We are curious about what you will bring to our team. You will be working in a team full of IAM and tech enthusiasts who are all willing to help each other out. We work Scrum/Agile and you get all the space you need to try out new things from the target group's point of view.

The people in team Orchestration are responsible for delivering secure and automated identity and access management capabilities across IAM. Collaboration is our way of working; as one technical team within Rabobank. The team supports each other, embraces continuous improvement and creates space to learn, experiment and share knowledge.

Work on yourself & the world around you

For us, your development and that of society go hand in hand. That is why we invest in you and work together to create a better world. This is reflected in your personal development opportunities, our hybrid work environment and a healthy work-life balance. You will join an organisation that values learning, knowledge sharing, collaboration and meaningful impact. Growing a better world together is what drives us.

Why everyone is welcome at Rabobank

At Rabobank, we are working toward a culture where everyone feels welcome. We value our differences and use them to collaborate more effectively and make better decisions. By being open to different perspectives, we create an environment where colleagues feel heard, respected and able to be themselves.

  • At least 5 years of experience in API development, working with AWS and Python (FastAPI framework)
  • A strong foundation with respect to CI/CD pipelines, code scanning tools, vulnerability management best practices etc.
  • Prior experience working within IAM is a must.
