About the Role

Rabobank's COO Domain is seeking an experienced Program Office Manager to help drive the successful delivery of the Elevate Program, a key strategic transformation initiative in operational risk & resilience.

As a key member of the Elevate Program Management Office (PMO), you will partner closely with the Program Director to manage the program's governance, financial management, resource planning & integrated planning. You will establish the program's operating rhythm, provide visibility of progress & dependencies, proactively manage risks & constraints, & enable informed decision-making to deliver transformation outcomes.

This is a 24-month fixed term contract.

Top Role Accountabilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day PMO operations, coordinating delivery across workstreams & delivery partners
  • Maintain the integrated program plan, managing milestones, cross-workstream dependencies & facilitate integrated & re-planning activities
  • Establish & strengthen governance frameworks, controls & reporting processes
  • Coordinate governance forums & steering committees & executive decision-making processes & controls, ensuring actions & decisions are tracked to completion
  • Deliver clear & insightful program reporting, dashboards & governance packs
  • Manage program budgeting, forecasting, financial reconciliation & investment tracking
  • Lead assurance reviews, audits & remediation activities
  • Coordinate program-wide resource planning, recruitment activities, onboarding, & vendor engagement activities.
  • Build strong relationships with business, technology, risk & finance stakeholders to support delivery & operational readiness
  • Coach project teams on governance expectations & best-practice project management
  • Continuously improve PMO processes, tools, reporting & controls
  • Provide leadership & guidance to PMO & project support resources across the program

To be successful you will have: 

  • 8+ years' experience in PMO leadership, program management, enterprise transformation or large-scale delivery environments
  • Proven experience managing governance, executive reporting, stakeholder engagement & budgets > $25 million
  • Strong background supporting complex transformation programs in banking or another regulated industry
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence up to executive level
  • Strong financial acumen, problem-solving capability, & experience managing risks, issues & dependencies
  • Expertise in program governance, integrated planning, resource & benefits management, & risk & control frameworks
  • Experience working across Agile & Waterfall delivery environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel & PowerPoint), Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence & SharePoint
