About the role

Rabobank’s COO Domain has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Program Coordinator to join Project ELEVATE,  a high-profile enterprise-wide transformation program focused on strengthening operational resilience, risk management, governance & accountability across the bank.

As a key member of the Program Management Office (PMO), you will work closely with the Program Director, PMO Lead & senior stakeholders to support the successful delivery of this strategic initiative. You will play a pivotal role in driving effective governance, integrated planning, executive reporting & program coordination, helping to ensure the program delivers long-term value for the business.

This Sydney-based role is offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Support the Program Director, PMO Lead & Project Managers to maintain effective program governance & delivery practices
  • Coordinate governance forums, meetings & reporting cycles, including agendas, packs, minutes & action tracking
  • Maintain RAID logs, dependencies, decisions & change registers, ensuring accountability & timely follow-up
  • Develop & maintain project schedules, governance calendars & reporting timelines
  • Prepare & consolidate status reports, governance materials & executive-level updates
  • Manage program documentation, repositories, version control & approval records
  • Support financial administration, including budget tracking, forecasting, invoicing & resource reporting
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, access requests & team administration activities
  • Drive consistency in reporting, templates, processes & document management
  • Identify opportunities to improve governance, reporting, automation & PMO effectiveness

About you

You bring extensive experience in program coordination & PMO governance & delivery support within complex transformation environments. With strong critical thinking & sound judgement, you are comfortable providing informed challenge, influencing stakeholders, & contributing to effective governance outcomes while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 7+ years' experience in project coordination, PMO, or program support
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs (>$20M), ideally in banking or financial services
  • Proven experience supporting complex regulatory, risk, & compliance initiatives
  • Proven capability supporting Program Directors, senior leaders & executive stakeholders
  • Strong experience with governance, executive reporting, Steering Committee packs & PMO disciplines
  • Demonstrated expertise managing RAID processes, integrated planning & dependency tracking across multiple workstreams
  • Strong understanding of risk, issue, dependency & change management processes
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities & deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail & confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint, with experience using MS Project & Azure DevOps
  • Strong judgement, discretion & the ability to work with sensitive information
