You & your role

As W&R Transaction Monitoring Analyst Financial Institutions, you know the secrets of identifying unusual customer activity and investigating complex transaction alerts. You help Rabobank meet regulatory obligations by analysing alerts, assessing integrity risks and supporting measures that reduce financial crime risks. Working within the Wholesale and Rural Europe market, you contribute to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing and reputational or financial damage.

  • Investigate unusual transactions that may indicate money laundering risks.
  • Assess complex customer cases and determine appropriate risk mitigation measures together with other departments.
  • Analyse signals related to Financial Institutions and contribute to maintaining compliance with regulatory obligations.

You & your talent

  • Higher vocational education background preferably in Finance, Economics, Law or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Financial Institution or international company. 
  • Understanding of Financial Economic Crime in general and Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing in particular.
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with relevant (international) financial rules and regulations and affinity with compliance / risk management and integrity issues.
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with Payment Service Providers (PSP’s), Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASP’s), Money Service Businesses (MSB’s/MTO’s) and other financial institutions.
  • You combine decision-making and professional judgement with tact, clear communication and organization sensitivity.
  • You are able to multitask on several cases at the same time, you are flexible and can deal with stress. You like personal interaction with others and have a pragmatic approach.
