You and Your Job

As an FEC Risks and Controls Officer within the FEC NA Governance Team, you will manage the regional Risk and Control Framework, including ongoing Control Self-Assessments and FEC-owned findings. You will ensure risks and controls are clearly documented, assessed, monitored, and aligned with regulatory and Rabobank requirements.

You will also partner across FEC NA and FCC NA teams to coordinate regulatory examinations and Internal Audit requests, strengthen processes and documentation, oversee remediation activities, and advance the maturity of the regional governance program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain the FEC NA Risk and Control Framework in alignment with regulatory and Rabobank requirements.
  • Partner with FEC and FCC stakeholders to align risks, controls, and pillar-owned processes, escalating material gaps when appropriate.
  • Lead timely, high-quality Control Self-Assessments and continuously improve the supporting process and framework.
  • Coordinate and deliver responses for Compliance Testing Group, Internal Audit, and regulatory examination requests.
  • Develop, document, track, and support closure of action plans for self-identified, testing, audit, and regulatory findings.
  • Oversee and challenge the documentation, investigation, root-cause analysis, action planning, and resolution of Operational Risk Incidents in Archer.
  • Support execution of the regional Risk Identification and Assessment and the Global Systemic Integrity Risk Assessment.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the FEC Risks and Controls Officer role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant risk, compliance, or adjacent experience in a regulatory environment.
  • Working knowledge of financial crime laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and Anti-Money Laundering Act.
  • Experience managing regulatory and compliance topics, risk and control frameworks, findings, and/or remediation activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel regionally and globally, up to %10
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Salary Expectations:


Target Hiring Range: STL: $75,900 - $85,000  and NY: $80,000 - $105,000


This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
