You & your role 

You are an AI Engineer with Cloud expertise (AWS preferred) and a strong product mindset. You combine technology and user needs to make AI-assisted software development valuable in practice. Starting with GitHub Copilot, you help teams adopt Coding Assistants and explore more agentic ways of working through hands-on support, proofs of concept, knowledge sharing, and data-driven insights. 

Examples for practices 

  • Accelerate the adoption of Coding Assistants by helping engineering teams integrate tools such as GitHub Copilot into their daily way of working. 
  • Demonstrate the value of Agentic Engineering through hands-on experiments and proofs of concept with engineering teams. 
  • Measure adoption and impact by defining relevant KPIs, building dashboards, and turning insights into actions.

Top responsibilities  

  • Be a technical leader on Coding Assistants, coaching teams how to make use of AGENTS.md, Spec-driven development, instructions and strategies to optimize token usage 
  • Develop and deploy Dashboards and automation solutions to track usage and KPIs and automate operations (in scope: AWS, Azure DevOps, Python. Knowledge of Databricks is a plus) 
  • Help the community in making the most value out of coding assistants (starting with GitHub Copilot) for various IDEs and programming languages 
  • Perform POCs and work with Security teams to evaluate enabling new features such as CLI 
  • Operational tasks including license management and answering support tickets and queries

You & your talent 

  • Knowledge on designing and deploying serverless solutions on AWS (preferred) or Azure, with Terraform 
  • AI in SDLC usage (can design and build custom agents, reusable skills - and use them).  
  • Coding Agents knowledge. Active user of GitHub Copilot and other coding assistants on the market 
  • Software engineering fundamentals (polyglot coding - focus on Python) 
  • Production experience (deploy, operate, scale systems) 
  • Cloud, DevOps & IaC (practical experience) 
  • Systems design (APIs, event-driven, integrations) 
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and product-oriented delivery 
  • GitHub Enterprise administration (optional - willing to learn the basics) 
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
  • AI Governance and responsible AI (security, privacy, prompt injection, leakage, data protection)
