Challenging internships at Rabobank

Rabobank offers three types of internships at different levels (secondary vocational education, higher vocational education, and university). During a co-working internship you experience what it’s like to work at Rabobank, while a research internship gives you the chance to improve our organization and an observational internship gives you a sense of what the work is like. Not only will you get to know our organization, but you will also gain experience in a field of your choice and develop on a personal level.

Our internships span various departments and teams. Some interns secure their positions by reaching out to a Rabobank employee directly with an innovative idea or research proposal. Additionally, you can engage in events we host or those held at educational institutions.

During your internship at Rabobank, you will be fully integrated into your team. Your colleagues will support and encourage you to identify your strengths. Additionally, you will be assigned a buddy who will assist you in navigating the bank and provide guidance throughout your internship.

Throughout your internship, you will become acquainted with both the broader bank and your specific work placement. For instance, Young Rabo, the organization within Rabobank dedicated to young professionals, hosts various activities ranging from social gatherings to personal development events.

There are many career opportunities after your internship. We have traineeships, a Young Professional Program or starter positions. We invest a lot of time in developing young talent, and there are many students who have moved on within the bank after their internship.
