Test Lead Loans and Agency Services

CORE is the Core Banking platform for Corporate Banking Services for regional offices worldwide. Your testing expertise helps driving and safeguarding the quality of the Foundations Area services.

You & your role

Drive quality assurance across the Loans, Agency & Fees team by designing and executing test plans, analysing results, and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives as a Test Lead. You ensure robust testing across a complex backend landscape, collaborate with cross-functional teams. As test lead you mentor and work closely with testers in an international DevOps team to deliver high-quality services to our end users to enable servicing our Rabobank’s wholesale clients.

Examples from practice

• Guiding and monitoring the testers of the team on test methodologies and best practices.
• Testing across dozens of integrated applications, ensuring smooth data flows between systems.
• Conducting thorough system testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability and/or cross-functional integration testing of end-to-end flow.
• Validating backend processes via APIs and SQL queries.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Ensure quality is embedded in every step of the DevOps way of working, through test expertise and methodology, manual testing and validations, effective test plan design and reporting, and conducting root cause analysis and follow up of bugs.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team and product owner by actively participating in sprints, solution reviews and advise on test approach.
• Identify and communicate risks and improvements by acting as a quality ambassador and challenging technical decisions to drive continuous improvement.

As a Test Lead, your contribution will enable maintaining and building the foundations of the CORE application.

You & your talent

• Proven experience with Quality Assurance mentorship and leading a team
• Comprehensive communication verbally and in writing, in test plan designs and reporting
• Manual testing
• Proven experience with context-driven, exploratory, concurrent and risk-based testing.
• Proficiency in system integration, web services, API testing, SQL.
• Familiarity with structured test methods (e.g. ISTQB, TMap)
• Worked in Agile/Scrum environments.

• You must be located in the Netherlands, re-location is not possible for this role.
