Product Owner Consumer Interaction

Within this context, Nexa acts as the central ecosystem in Rabobank’s technology landscape. It empowers squads to deliver value faster by providing a single starting point for insights, standardized solutions, and collaboration.

The Consumer Interaction area plays a pivotal role within this ecosystem by simplifying the end to end engineering journey. By bringing user insights to the forefront, translating them into seamless experiences, and driving adoption of standardized services, the area ensures solutions are easy to discover, use, and continuously improve. It enables engineers and related roles to start strong, work efficiently, and deliver impact from day one—contributing to a more predictable, scalable, and value-driven IT organization.

You & your role 

As a Product Owner, you will work together with other Product Owners, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters, and over 30 engineers, business analysts, designers and marketing specialists that together shape a diverse and engaging working environment. While we put our user front and center, we also actively collaborate with one another through nourishing a culture that embraces openness and growth.

Top responsibilities  

As a Product Owner you determine what needs to be done, prioritize and align to achieve our ambitions and drive real impact. A Product Owner is part of an autonomous multidisciplinary team that is end-to-end responsible for their products and services.

• Define and evolve a clear, value-driven product vision aligned with user needs, market trends, and business objectives
• Champion the voice of the consumer and take end-to-end delivery ownership, including compliance, risk, and service quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to set priorities and drive informed, outcome-focused decisions
• Own a value-driven roadmap, balance discovery and delivery, and make strategic trade-offs across dependencies

You & your talent 

• HBO / WO thinking and / or education level
• You have proven track record and 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in complex agile / Scrum environments
• You are experienced in product / problem discovery, user journey framework, capturing user insights in large scale and translating them into tangible solution direction
• You do not get caught up in details and see the bigger picture. You focus on value creation and impact (outcomes), rather than process and technical feature delivery (outputs)
• You thrive in fast-changing and ambiguous environments, quickly bringing structure, direction, and clarity to complex situations
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You’re able to structure complex stories, simplify and present to various target audiences
• You make decisions fact-based and data-driven
