Kick-off day overview
What can you expect on the kick-off day?
You’ll kick off your personal and professional leadership journey today.
We’ll warmly welcome you, introduce the Rabobank Traineeship, and help you connect with your fellow trainees.
Your hosts, current trainees Camilla and JT, will guide you through the program. You’ll hear from our CEO, Stefaan Decraene, learn more about the traineeship, and get plenty of time to meet each other.
After lunch, an inspiring and energetic afternoon awaits. We’ll end the day informally with drinks and bites!
Practical information
Date and location:
Wednesday, April 1st, room P015, Croeselaan 18 in Utrecht.
Check-in:
Before the program starts, please pick up your work and entrance badge between 9.00–9.45 a.m. in the central hall/reception.
Bring your passport or ID card (driver’s license is not accepted). Without valid ID, you cannot receive your badge.
Young Talent Management colleagues will be there to guide you, but some waiting time is expected due to crowds.
Program start:
The program begins at 09.45 a.m. Please be on time!
Public transport & accessibility:
Our head office is an 8-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station.
You can also come by bike or car; signs will direct you to the parking areas.
Dress code:
No need to worry about what to wear. Rabobank does not have a strict dress code, choose something that feels comfortable and suits you.
Lunch:
Lunch will be provided during the kick-off day.
On the other days, please bring your own lunch or visit one of our restaurants.
If you have dietary wishes, please let us know before March 20.

Questions & Answers
Rotations abroad are only possible in the Global banking track.
You’ll receive more information about your first rotation during your first week, from your Talentmanager. During the final selection day, we got to know you a bit, and based on your interests and background, we aim to ensure a smooth landing within the bank.
At Rabobank we have possibilities to work abroad for a maximum of 30 days on a calendar year basis, but there are limitations to this. For example: does your work allow to do so, the country you want to work in. You and your manager will discuss the possibilities in your situation and what fits within Rabobank's policy.
You can apply for an NS Business Card in Workday, as soon as you receive your laptop. The NS will deliver the card to your address as registered in Workday within 14 days. Costs you make in the meantime can be claimed via Workday.
You will receive your laptop during the first week of the kick-off. Your Talent manager will hand it over to you and help you get set up.
You will receive your entrance card on your first day, during the kick-off. As soon as you arrive at the office, it will be handed over to you in the central hall. Please bring your ID-card or passport with you to receive the entrance card. Note: driver licence will not be accepted.
Yes, you will receive several emails in the upcoming weeks. In these messages, we’ll share all the ins and outs about the kick-off day and your Traineeship, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. So keep an eye on your inbox!
On the Kick-off day itself, lunch will be provided, so you don’t need to bring anything. However, for the other days of the Kick-off week, please make sure to bring your own lunch.
