You and Your Job

As a Summer Intern – Wholesale Lending North America Portfolio Management, you will support recurring reporting, business planning, portfolio monitoring and team coordination. Working under close guidance, you will contribute to assignments that advance the team’s day-to-day priorities while developing your analytical, organizational and communication skills.

You will collaborate with colleagues across Wholesale Lending North America and its product groups, gaining broad exposure to portfolio management, financial performance, risk, data and business management. Through team meetings, learning opportunities and hands-on projects, you will see how the organization works together to support clients and manage the lending portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain recurring portfolio, financial and business reports.
• Collect, organize and review data for management information, portfolio reviews and presentations.
• Create presentation materials, meeting materials and other internal communications.
• Conduct research and high-level analysis on portfolio, market and business topics.
• Track priorities and initiatives while supporting product groups, team meetings and other assigned projects.

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate college or university program.
• Coursework in finance, business, economics, accounting, data analytics or a related field is preferred.
• An interest in wholesale banking, lending, portfolio management or financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and foundational analytical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with a willingness to learn, take direction and collaborate across teams.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Internship Overview:

Rabobank’s internship program is designed to provide a mutually beneficial relationship and growth opportunity for Rabobank and collegiate students. This experiential learning opportunity provides practical application and skills development in a professional environment and is aligned with Rabobank’s commitment to recruit top talent in the communities we serve.  While employed as a summer intern, students will have the opportunity to prove their ability to learn and demonstrate key skills that will make them successful at Rabobank. To aid in this endeavor, students will be matched with a mentor and provided the necessary professional development opportunities to achieve their goals. The internship will be a full time 40hr a week position, 10-week, paid program.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $49.50/hour

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
