You and Your Job

As a Wholesale Banking Summer Intern based in the Toronto, Canada office, you will provide analytical, transaction and marketing support to the Canada Corporate Banking Coverage team. You will assist Analysts and Associates with transaction execution and the development of new business prospects, including preparing presentations, company profiles and other materials for Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers.

This internship offers hands-on experience, professional development and exposure to professionals across Rabobank’s broad product offerings. The program is designed as a pipeline to full-time Analyst opportunities for interns who perform at a high level.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, transaction and marketing support to the Canada Corporate Banking Coverage team.
• Assist Analysts and Associates with tasks supporting the execution of client transactions.
• Prepare presentations, company profiles and other materials for Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers.
• Support the development and evaluation of new business prospects.
• Collaborate with professionals across Rabobank’s product offerings while delivering accurate, high-quality work within tight timelines.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the Wholesale Banking Summer Intern role, you must have:

• Current junior standing with a strong GPA while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Business, banking or finance coursework and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation, initiative, creative problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
• A sincere interest in food and agribusiness and a desire to pursue a career in corporate banking; relevant club participation or prior internship experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work on-site at Rabobank’s Toronto, Canada office throughout the internship.

Internship Overview:

Rabobank’s internship program is designed to provide a mutually beneficial relationship and growth opportunity for Rabobank and collegiate students. This experiential learning opportunity provides practical application and skills development in a professional environment and is aligned with Rabobank’s commitment to recruit top talent in the communities we serve.  While employed as a summer intern, students will have the opportunity to prove their ability to learn and demonstrate key skills that will make them successful at Rabobank. To aid in this endeavor, students will be matched with a mentor and provided the necessary professional development opportunities to achieve their goals. The internship will be a full time 40hr a week position, 10-week, paid program.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range:  $40.00/hour - $45.00/hour  CAD

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, employer registered pension plan contributions, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and possible discretionary bonuses.
