This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or further develop their career in banking operations.  Whether you have experience in banking operations, customer service, or a fast-paced contact centre environment, we are looking for individuals with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, & a desire to grow.

As our operations continue to evolve, you will have the opportunity to develop broader skills across payments processing, authorisation, & operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Payments Officer, you will ensure every transaction is processed accurately, efficiently, & in accordance with regulatory & internal requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing a variety of banking transactions, from automatic payments to deposit setups & interest adjustments
  • Investigating & resolving payment-related enquiries
  • Reconciling accounts & reviewing transaction data to ensure accuracy
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes & contribute to team initiatives
  • Participating in team meetings, knowledge sharing, & cross-training activities
  • Supporting the broader team to ensure service levels & deadlines are met

What We're Looking For:

Experience within banking operations or knowledge of Australian transactional banking processes would be advantageous but is not essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, drive, & learning agility. If you are someone who takes initiative & enjoys solving problems we want to hear from you.

You will ideally bring:

  • A customer-focused mindset
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • Excellent attention to detail & a high level of accuracy
  • A positive, can-do attitude & an ability to adapt to change
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks & meet deadlines

At Rabobank, we support our people to thrive both professionally and personally. Our benefits include:

  • Hybrid working combining office & home-based work
  • Two additional Wellbeing Leave days each year to support work-life balance
  • Education Assistance to help you invest in your professional development
  • Paid Parental Leave of up to 14 weeks to support you & your family
  • Additional leave options, including the opportunity to earn an extra week of annual leave & purchase up to two additional weeks
  • Employer-funded Death, TPD & Income Protection Insurance for eligible permanent employees
  • Rabo Workplace Giving, where employee donations to selected social partners are matched by Rabobank
