About the role | Mō te tūranga
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive DTA (Deposit Takers Act) Business Support Lead to join our programme team. In this role, you will play a critical role providing centralised business support allowing Business Owners to focus on regulatory interpretation, business requirements and decision making.
In addition to working closely with the Business Owners, you’ll work closely with the Business Analysts, and other key members of the delivery teams to ensure activities are well-structured, tracked, and aligned to programme objectives.
This role is established to support Rabobank’s implementation of the New Zealand Deposit Takers Act (NZ DTA).
This is a 12-month fixed-term position.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and support effective working group structures, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, materials, and recording minutes
- Track arising actions, decisions, risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams
- Provide structured administrative and coordination support to Business Owners to enable informed decision-making
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support governance, assurance, and regulatory requirements
- Support alignment between workstream activities and overall programme governance and reporting
- Contribute to leadership reporting, including status updates and delivery summaries
- Ensure consistency in documentation, templates, and ways of working across the programme

You are a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment. You bring strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities and support multiple stakeholders effectively.
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in a project support or coordination role
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments across multiple workstreams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Desirable:
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with project methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile/Scrum)
- Experience with tools such as Visio, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence
- Exposure to invoice tracking or financial administration
