  • Hedging new and existing market exposures.
  • Managing pricing for FX spot and FX swaps.
  • Managing FX spot and fixing orders during regional coverage periods.
  • Pricing IRS, cross-currency swaps, long-dated FX swaps and par forwards.
  • Assisting Sales with XVA charge calculations.
  • Providing Treasury with cash positions to support optimal funding of the trading book.

What you’ll bring

You’re an experienced trader with strong technical capability across financial markets and the confidence to operate in an environment where you’ll be helping to build and enhance trading capability.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • At least 5 years’ trading experience, with experience across Commodities and Rates/FX.
  • A university qualification in finance, accounting, business, economics, law or another banking-related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant financial products and markets.
  • Strong technical and quantitative capability within your areas of expertise.

  • The ability to manage risk and respond effectively to client and Sales requests.
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to work across regional and global teams.
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.

What sets this opportunity apart

This is more than a traditional trading seat. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Rabobank’s commodities trading capability in the region, combining hands-on trading with infrastructure, pricing, risk and product development.

You’ll work across Commodities, Rates and FX while partnering with Sales, Treasury and international Markets teams, giving you broad exposure to both Australian and APAC client activity.
