FEC Investigations is a specialist team at Rabobank that provides expertise worldwide in the prevention and detection of financial and economic crime. The team works with both internal and external partners to identify and prevent emerging risks.
The goal of FEC Investigations is to protect our customers, the bank and society from financial crime. The team actively collaborates with other organizations, both public and private, to create a safer world by researching, collaborating, and responding quickly to high-risk situations.
Op zoek naar financiële fenomenen die alles veranderen
Veruit het grootste gedeelte van de 9 miljoen klanten is integer. Maar om geld op het goede pad te houden, moet je nu eenmaal die enkele klant opsporen die dat niet is. Vaak is dat een speld in een hooiberg, maar dat weerhoudt Sjak nergens van. Aandachtig nemen hij en zijn team moderne fenomenen onder de loep, zoals cryptocurrency en nieuwe fintech bedrijven. Met zijn jaren ervaring binnen de bank lijkt zijn enthousiasme almaar te groeien. Ooit gaat hij er een boek over schrijven, voor nu deelt hij zijn ervaringen hier.
