Wellbeing: feel good and stay energetic
Every day you make a difference for yourself, your colleagues, Rabobank, our customers and the people around you. We believe that you’ll succeed best if you feel good about yourself and have enough energy to deal with changes. That’s why we focus on your wellbeing with tools to help you manage your energy and health.

We work with you to create an environment in which you and your team can get the best possible results.
To enhance your wellbeing we focus on six inter-related areas.
Physical
Do you eat healthily? Do you take exercise? Do you have enough energy to do what you want?
Would you like to take time out for a walk or an hour’s sporting activity during your working day? That’s allowed, and we strongly encourage it! Rabobank gives you lots of freedom to plan your day the way that suits you.
Mental
How are you feeling? How do you deal with setbacks, in your home or working life?
We think everyone deserves a working day which starts and ends with a smile. Being happy in your job can even be the best medicine for work pressure and stress. Together we look for what gives you job satisfaction.
Social
How do you get on with other people? Do you feel sufficiently connected to the people around you?
Our hybrid way of working means that we see less of our colleagues. Which makes it even more important to actively stay connected to your team. Having more contact with co-workers means more fun and creativity, a culture of openness, and improved mental health. At Rabobank we organize regular team events. Since they’re often linked to a good cause, you work on your own wellbeing and contribute to the world around you.
Motivation
Do you make choices based on your values and beliefs? Does your work match your objectives?
Financial
Do you have insight into your financial position? Are you able to make sound decisions on money matters?
Community
Do you do voluntary work? Do you think you can make a difference for other people?
Would you like to do something on one of the six themes? We encourage you and your team to take initiatives. If you need help, you can call on experienced coaches for support.
Work smart, feel good
Hybrid working has blurred the boundaries between work and private time. Which is why we encourage all our employees to adopt new habits to keep up their energy levels during and after the working day.
- Switch off: make sure that private time really is private time. Turn off notifications and put your telephone and laptop away.
- Time to focus: plan focus time so that you can focus fully on your work without distractions.
- Daily mile: Take a walk every day to clear your head.
- Shorter meetings: We’re shortening the length of all internal meetings from 60 to 50 minutes, and from 30 to 25 minutes. So that you have a break to stay fresh!
