You and Your Job

As a WBNA Strategy & Analytics Summer Intern, you will support Wholesale Management and Wholesale Client Support by organizing and analyzing data, preparing reports and presentations, and contributing to projects that improve business insight and team effectiveness.

You will join a small, collaborative team where you can build practical experience with Excel, Power BI, data analytics, and emerging AI tools. Success in this role requires clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, attention to detail, and the initiative to move assigned work forward while learning from colleagues across Wholesale Banking North America.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain recurring portfolio, financial, and management reports using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
• Collect, organize, review, and analyze data for management information, presentations, and ad hoc business requests.
• Create presentation materials, meeting materials, spreadsheets, reports, and internal communications.
• Support projects and research related to portfolios, markets, business priorities, data analytics, and emerging AI applications.
• Collaborate with Wholesale Management, Wholesale Client Support, product teams, coverage bankers, and other WBNA colleagues while tracking priorities and action items.

To be considered for the WBNA Strategy & Analytics Summer Intern role, you must have:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate college or university program, with a strong academic record.
• Coursework in finance, business, economics, accounting, data analytics, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A willingness to learn, take direction, build relationships across teams, and an interest in Food and Agribusiness and/or Energy Transition preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Internship Overview:

Rabobank’s internship program is designed to provide a mutually beneficial relationship and growth opportunity for Rabobank and collegiate students. This experiential learning opportunity provides practical application and skills development in a professional environment and is aligned with Rabobank’s commitment to recruit top talent in the communities we serve.  While employed as a summer intern, students will have the opportunity to prove their ability to learn and demonstrate key skills that will make them successful at Rabobank. To aid in this endeavor, students will be matched with a mentor and provided the necessary professional development opportunities to achieve their goals. The internship will be a full time 40hr a week position, 10-week, paid program.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $49.50/hour

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
