At Rabobank, we want to make it as easy as possible for our engineers and product teams to build safe, reliable services. As Product Owner Adherence, you will bring people together, set a clear direction, and help turn complex requirements into practical solutions that create value across the bank.
Area Adherence supports the mandatory compliance, risk, and security processes that help keep the bank safe and secure. Our ambition is to make adherence a seamless part of the engineering and product journey - improving efficiency, transparency, and user experience while maintaining effective control.
As a Product Owner within Area Adherence, you will shape products and services that make adherence clear, accessible, and scalable. Your exact portfolio may evolve with the area’s priorities and can include data, insights, workflow automation, onboarding, and other capabilities that support engineers, product teams, and adherence topic owners.
You & your role
As Product Owner, you will take ownership of a product or service domain within Area Adherence. You will develop the vision and roadmap with your team and stakeholders, make transparent priority decisions, and focus on outcomes, adoption, and sustainable value - not delivery alone. You do not need to have every answer from day one; curiosity, sound judgement, and a willingness to learn are essential.
You will:
- Shape a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with area strategy and user needs
- Listen to users and stakeholders, identify the most valuable problems to solve, and turn insights into priorities
- Balance ease of use, scalability, risk, and compliance when making product decisions
- Create alignment across teams and encourage standard solutions while recognising meaningful differences between domains
You will contribute to the leadership of the area and work closely with your development team, Tech Lead, Scrum Master, fellow Product Owners, architects, and other partners. We value thoughtful collaboration, open dialogue, and shared ownership.
