Product Manager - Software Delivery Platform

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping that experience and enabling engineers to deliver value faster, more securely, and with less friction.

We are looking for a Product Manager who is excited by the challenge of building developer platforms at enterprise scale within a highly regulated environment. In this role, you will own the strategy, roadmap, adoption, and outcomes for two critical platform products at the heart of Rabobank's software delivery ecosystem.

One team is responsible for ensuring that software delivery pipelines across the bank adhere to compliance and security standards through our custom-built Pipeline Compliance Platform. The second team delivers managed CI/CD capabilities that are compliant by design, enabling engineers to focus on building software while the platform takes care of governance, security, and operational excellence.

Together, these products are a key part of Rabobank's Managed Application Stack: the paved road that provides engineers with everything they need to go from idea to production. Whether teams are launching new microservices, modernising legacy workloads, or building customer-facing solutions, your platforms enable secure and frictionless software delivery at scale.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, and Security. You will help shape a world where the secure path is the easiest path, compliance is built-in rather than bolted on, and engineers can focus on delivering customer value.

About Tech4Dev

Tech4Dev provides the platforms, tools, and paved roads that enable Rabobank engineers to build, secure, and operate software at scale. Our mission is simple: make the secure path the easiest path for every engineer.

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with fellow Product Managers, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters, and a multidisciplinary team of more than 60 engineers and analysts. Together, we continuously improve the developer experience while delivering secure, scalable, and compliant engineering capabilities.

Key responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for pipeline compliance and managed CI/CD capabilities.
• Align product direction with Rabobank's Managed Application Stack and engineering platform strategy.
• Define success metrics around platform adoption, developer experience, compliance

Product Delivery & Roadmap Execution

• Own product priorities, roadmap, and backlog to maximise developer productivity, platform adoption, and business impact
• Deliver compliant-by-design platform capabilities that enable secure and frictionless software delivery
• Manage dependencies across teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
• Use data and customer insights to continuously improve products and prioritisation

Stakeholder & Compliance Management

• Partner with engineering, architecture, security, risk, and leadership stakeholders to align priorities and drive adoption
• Ensure platform services meet compliance and regulatory requirements without increasing developer friction.
• Use feedback, data, and insights to inform decisions and measure success

Engineering Enablement & Adoption

• Champion the voice of the engineer throughout the product lifecycle
• Drive adoption of managed CI/CD solutions and compliance capabilities across the engineering community
• Continuously improve platform usability, automation, and developer productivity

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead two platform teams responsible for pipeline compliance and managed CI/CD services
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on sustainable technical solutions and with Scrum Masters on building high-performing teams
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity

You & your talent

• HBO/WO level of thinking and working.
• 4+ years of Product Management experience in complex Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Platform Engineering, and secure-by-design delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms, including permissions and YAML pipelines.
• Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and deliver outcomes in a multi-team environment.

• Strategic mindset with a focus on customer value and business impact over feature output.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, from engineers to senior leadership.
• Proactive, collaborative, and driven to create value with users and stakeholders.
• Experienced in product discovery and root cause analysis.
• Curious, growth-oriented, and comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone while giving and receiving feedback openly.
• You make decisions fact-based and data-driven
