We're seeking a Senior Manager, Data, Model & AI Risk to join our Risk Management team in Sydney. This is a highly visible second line leadership role where you will provide independent oversight, challenge and strategic guidance across Data Risk, Model Risk, AI Risk and End User Computing (EUC) Risk throughout Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk, you will provide independent oversight and challenge across Rabobank's Data, Model and AI Risk frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading second line oversight of Data Risk, Model Risk, AI Risk and End User Computing (EUC) Risk.
• Providing expert advice and challenge on AI use cases, model governance, risk controls and data management practices.
• Reviewing AI-enabled solutions and assessing alignment with internal policies, risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
• Supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Data, Model and AI Risk frameworks.
• Conducting independent assurance reviews, control monitoring and risk assessments to identify emerging risks and themes.
• Preparing reporting and insights for executive leadership, risk committees and governance forums.
• Partnering with business leaders, model owners and the Data & AI Office to promote effective risk management while maintaining clear second line independence.
• Acting as the AI Ambassador for the Risk function, helping build capability, awareness and responsible adoption of AI across Risk and the broader organisation.

About You

You are an experienced risk professional who combines strong governance expertise with a genuine interest in emerging technologies and the evolving AI landscape.

You will bring:

• Significant experience in Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk or Risk Frameworks within financial services.
• Demonstrated expertise across Data Risk, Model Risk, AI Risk and/or End User Computing Risk.
• Experience providing independent oversight and challenge within a second line risk environment.
• Strong understanding of APRA prudential requirements and broader risk governance frameworks.
• Experience assessing controls, conducting assurance reviews and evaluating risk management effectiveness.
• The ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes across a matrix organisation.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to navigate complex, evolving risk environments.
