Privacy Information Security Officer

As a member of Data Protection Support (DPS) team, which is part of the Global Privacy Office (GPO), you will advise and support colleagues, employees and clients in expert privacy matters, at the interface of privacy and information security!
You and your job
As a Privacy Information Security Officer, you support with your technical insights the Global Data Protection Officer (DPO) in her regulatory tasks. The DPS team advises Compliance Advisors in expert privacy matters, handles complaints to the DPO, advises on Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA’s) and assesses data breaches in a second line role. Furthermore DPS supports the other teams of the GPO: Policy Management Expertise (PME) and Data Oversight (DOS).
For the position of Privacy Information Security Officer we are looking for an IT specialist with solid practical experience combined with an affinity with data privacy and risk management. Thanks to your technical insights you can assess data protection related risks and are able to challenge actions intended to mitigate those risks.
You understand complex information, make the right connections and are solution-oriented, With your problem solving skills, you help Rabobank to fix complex privacy issues related to data processing activities, such as apps and data transfers.
With your advice, in close cooperation with the other team members, you can make a difference by making sure we as a bank ‘do the right thing’.
Top responsibilities
Advising and supporting CITO and Continuity & IT Risk on privacy issues related to IT- and information security.
Provide solicited and unsolicited expert advice to 1LoR and compliance advisors.
Improve data protection awareness, information and organisation, continuous improvement.
Support the DPO in her required tasks.

You and your talent
Practical professional orientation and ability to think at Bachelor or Master level.
5-8 years of relevant working experience
Indepth knowledge of information security principles.
Experience working in a large, complex, international organization, dealing with diverse stakeholders with different interests.
Native in Dutch, fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
Complex problem solving and customer-oriented attitude.

A base salary up to max € 5,655.50 (scale 9) depending on experience
Holiday allowance (8,3%) + 13th month + Personal Budget of 11%
A permanent contract and hybrid working environment
