Job Overview/Purpose: 

Wholesale Support Team (“WST”) analyst will support the more seasoned WST team, the Front Office Corporate and Product teams in the pre-closing, closing and post closing of a transaction.  After closing WST Analyst is responsible for monitoring all actions that are required to maintain the portfolio of transactions.

The WST Analyst will be responsible for: 

coordinating the internal approval process and external documentation process (including doc review) for new transactions, renewals and amendments; maintaining a direct dialogue with the WST colleagues, the Front Office, Compliance, Legal and Credit regarding transaction deals, operational issues and upcoming amendments Perform on going monitoring of the deal covenants create a client service environment liaise with members of Corporate Clients and Support teams (Operations (incl. Client On Boarding), Compliance, Risk, Legal and Finance) to ensure an efficient, effective and sustainable support model for our franchise Manage a LC book of business Perform withholding tax function for Mexico Produce monthly management information presentation

As an integral part of a small team the candidate will need to be both a good team player as well as be able to “problem solve” without much supervision and in general be able to “get things done”. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal skills as well as strong spreadsheet skills.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Perform administrative duties of Wholesale transactions/books
  • Input/maintain facilities information in Electronic Term Sheet System (ETS), ensuring accurate information
  • Coordinate funding with TRG
  • Coordinate/provide booking instructions (ex. Rollovers, Draws/Payments) to the back office (ex. Loan and Trade Departments) if needed
  • Coordinate and prepare the KYC process, including completion of Due Diligence requirements, for Onboarding, periodic reviews, and EDRs of Clients. Input of all applicable information into the Client Onboarding tool.
  • Coordinate and provide consistency checks for Flood insurance due diligence both for new business and ongoing monitoring
  • Monitor credit covenants and financial statements
  • Maintain/update procedures
  • Manage a LC process for all SBLC and Import LCs
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports

Key Relationships: 

Internal: Coverage Bankers, Risk Management staff both in New York and Utrecht (Head-office), Compliance, Operations (incl. Client Onboarding), Finance and Legal

External: Corporate clients, Attorneys, Syndicate Banks, Vendors, Service Providers

  • Timely and accurate processing of amendments, including the internal process
  • Timely and accurate processing of all new client on boarding and periodic reviews

  • Coordination, understanding, and outcome of legal processes

Qualifications

Essential:

  • BS/BA in a relevant field
  • Strong analytic and computer skills (Excel), attention to detail.
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar functions or related education.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of credit products, derivatives, swaps, loan structures.
