VP - Director of Talent Management

Reporting to the Head of Organizational Effectiveness (OE), the Director, Talent Management serves as the primary lead for all programs and initiatives associated with talent management, acting as a strategic business partner to business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Directors of Learning and Development to drive initiatives that support organizational talent goals and objectives. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of high-impact programs, tools, systems and processes that identify, develop, and retain a strong pipeline of ready, capable talent to drive short and long-term business objectives. The Director of Talent Management will have direct responsibility for designing, deploying, and managing various programs related to: Performance Management, Succession Planning, Emerging/High Performing Talent, Assessments, Career Development, Onboarding, Interns and Analyst Development . This role will partner with other HR functions to identify opportunities across the employee lifecycle which lead to an enhanced employee experience through the use of surveys, action research/ root cause analysis, action planning and other methods to evaluate organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Leads the strategic design and implementation of Rabo North America talent management, development initiatives and practices related to performance management, career development, succession management, leadership assessment and organization effectiveness in support of the company business strategy.
Direct oversight and management of Talent Management team, with specific assigned work streams allocated within/across all Talent Management Partners.
Partner with Learning and Development to identify, plan, design, deliver and fulfill employee and manager professional training & development needs.
Research, identify, and incorporate external leading best practices, innovations, and trends into design of Talent Management and organizational effectiveness solutions where appropriate.
Recommend strategies to address gaps, utilizing organization development tools to support employee engagement goals.
Provides leadership for and operationalizes the performance management life cycle from goal setting, feedback and coaching, performance review and calibration.
Develop the strategy for all people surveys across the employee lifecycle. Examples include, but are not limited to, candidate experience, onboarding, manager effectiveness, and exit surveys.
Develop sound survey action planning that addresses the specific business needs, addresses employee experience gaps and drives actionable results.
Generate actionable and predictive insights from program data. Present data to leadership, HR teams and responsible functions being measured.
Design and perform linkage analysis - synthesize research and other talent data to drive strategy and investments in employee experience, development and other talent management programs to monitor business impact and ensure maximum effectiveness.
Work closely with Director of Diversity & Inclusion ensuring all programs are inclusive and are aligned with Rabo North America D,E & I strategy.
Serves on OE leadership team, alongside Director of Learning and Director of People Development.
Complete all mandatory training.

Job Skills and Knowledge:
Experience designing and executing Talent Management programs, processes, and systems that result in measurable improvements and achievement of specific business objectives.
Proven track record of Talent Management program design, execution and evaluation.
Proven self-management skills, including the ability to lead by example and foster positive working relationships and manage time effectively.
Demonstrated knowledge of multiple organizational development/effectiveness methodologies, including action research, OD intervention application, assessment tools and development planning with strong business acumen.
Knowledge of D,E & I principles and culture building.
Working knowledge of surveys throughout the employee lifecycle (i.e., candidate, engagement, exit, etc.); experience implementing pulse surveys and leading action planning sessions.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills and the ability to consult with and influence business leaders; able to explain data and connect it to potential actions.
Demonstrated strong problem/situational analysis skills, experience developing customized approaches that leverage and complement the business culture; possesses the skills and ability to work at the strategic level and then translate those ideas into tactical actions.
Practical experience providing formal and informal executive and management coaching and development in all areas of leadership.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with, in order to comply with employment laws, fair employment practices, and Rabobank’ s internal policies and procedures.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development/Effectiveness, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration required
Master’s in Organizational Psychology or Training and Development preferred
10+ years of experience in a human resources corporate or business setting; Talent Management/Organization Development and/or Human Resources Business Partner experience in mid-size, multi-location organization with full-cycle talent management responsibilities.
