Imagine spending your time working with people and markets around the world. As a Valuation Controller you can make a difference by ensuring the correct valuation of a variety of complex financial instruments. In addition, you will calculate and analyse various additional valuation adjustments. You will be involved in the development and implementation of enhanced valuation methodologies to meet regulatory standards in wholesale bank systems of Rabobank.
- Starting your day by examining the key inputs to a model;
Performing independent price verifications for fair valued instruments;
- Discussing the valuation of a complex instruments with Risk and Front Office;
- Determining the plausible range of values for an instrument;
Calculating valuation adjustments such as bid-offer adjustments or the bilateral credit value adjustment.

Finance & Control Product Control (PC) is part of Finance & Control and is responsible for providing reliable financial and management information for global supported businesses to the Wholesale Rural & retail (WRR), Treasury and Local Bank businesses in a timely, efficient and professional manner. Reliable financial information is supported by an independent daily valuation of financial instruments in the bank’s trading and banking portfolios and analysis of evidence of performed controls.
Customer focus, problem solving and analytical skills as well as a results driven and a pro-active attitude are clearly essential for the role of Valuation Controller.
You hold a master’s degree with a focus on Finance, Economics or Econometrics or a degree in another discipline but with a keen interest in the financial sector.
CFA, FRM, PRM or equivalent is considered an asset or willingness to work towards one;
You have several years of relevant experience in the valuation of financial products
- You have a tangible interest in IT related systems and processes.
You are able to clearly express your ideas in English both orally and in written form. Communication skills in Dutch are considered an asset but not essential.

A gross monthly salary between €3.640,85 and €5.200,05.
