SR M&A Manager

1. Originating deals
· Supporting the sector originating efforts in Food&Agri subsectors;
· Monitors information on sector level and maps the companies in these sectors throughout South America;
· Synthesizes information for M&A clients (including its markets, products and competitors) and transactions;
· Takes lead over analysts and associates in the preparation of pitching materials, logistically as well as story line and content;
· Part of client pitches and client meetings, convincingly presenting relevant parts of the presentation;
· Analyzing customer’s needs to develop pro-active solutions (together with senior team members);
· Pro-actively generating ideas leading to pitches.

2. Executing deals
· Leads the daily execution of (cross-border) M&A transactions and safeguards the quality standards;
· End responsible for preparing high-quality marketing documents (IM, management presentations, teasers), flawless valuation models and all other analytical aspects of M&A execution and analysis;
· End responsible for the execution of due diligence and data room processes;
· Reviews and/or carries out engagement procedure/mandate letters/NDA’s;
· Understands key concepts of SPAs and is able to support senior bankers in SPA negotiations;
· Maintains contact with the client and external parties during the execution process;
· Proactively involves other product groups in the execution of transactions and/or pitches;
· Is a role model for interns/trainees/analysts/associates.

3. Line management
· Provides on-the-job training and reviews analysts/associates;
· Plays a significant role in recruiting efforts.

4. Building and maintaining a network
· Starts building a network of internal and external stakeholders in order to look after the M&A interests effectively and to be well informed;
· Starts developing client relationships in defined sub sectors.Experience
· Preferably 4-8 years of M&A experience at an investment bank, M&A boutique or corporate;
· Relevant experience in the execution of buy and sell mandates;
· Excellent modeling skills.

Education
· Bachelor’s degree at University.

Required knowledge
· Fluency of the English language is required and Spanish is desirable;
· Thorough M&A, corporate finance and investment banking knowledge;
