Security Professional

What You’ll Do

As a Security Specialist, you play a key role in strengthening Rabobank’s security posture. You work closely with engineers, architects, Security Champions, Information Security Officers and CISO colleagues to embed security into every stage of development. Your work includes:

• Performing in‑depth reviews of security documentation, architecture and designs
• Facilitating threat modeling and security risk assessments
• Embedding security controls and best practices into CI/CD pipelines
• Advising on secure design, implementation and application lifecycle management
• Co‑developing internal security tools, services and automation
• Creating tailored security training materials for different teams and roles
• Improving visibility through metrics, dashboards and storytelling
• Actively engaging in chapters, guilds and Agile ceremonies

In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor, a hands‑on engineer, and a connector across teams and domains.

Who you are
You’re a security enabler: someone who combines technical depth with strong communication skills. You simplify complexity, take ownership, and thrive in collaborative environments.

You and your talent

• An analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
• Strong knowledge of secure software development, threat modeling and cloud security (Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, security automation and tooling (SAST, DAST, SIEM)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with security design, architecture reviews or platforms like Cloud Foundry, PEGA or BI tooling is a plus
• Great communication skills and enjoy working in a team
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum
• Bonus: Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a Plus)

This is what we offer you

• A gross monthly salary up to € 5.300,48 (scale 8)  
• Thirteenth (13th) month's salary and (8%) holiday allowance; 
• An Employee Benefit Budget of (10%) of your gross monthly salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or receive a monthly cash pay-out. 
• A personal budget of €1.400 that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career. 
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
