You are driven to grow a better world together. You will sell Acorn carbon removal units to international corporates that reduce their emissions and want to offset their unavoidables. Our clients are unique multinationals like Microsoft and client of the Rabobank. You are able to share the uniqueness of the Acorn proposition in an compassionate manner.
You and your job
As sales lead Acorn you will make sure that the farmers get the maximum value or the carbon sequestered. You will build trust and lasting relationships with sustainable corporates in a pleasant, representative and responsive manner.
Build a pipeline of prospects
Close contracts with leading, sustainable corporates

Write and submit RfPs, negotiate contracts
Share the Acorn story with public audiences
You will start the commercial activities of Acorn. You will report directly to the Head of Acorn or MT member.

The 40+ people in Acorn are driven to support farmers in developing countries in the transition to agroforestry. You and your talent
You have lived in a developing country for at least 2 years
Background in development aid / fund raising / start up / consulting
Minimum of 2 years experience with prospecting clients and closing deals or business development
Warm personality that nurtures relationships
You are naturally convincing and empathic
You know the Acorn proposition and have affection with it so you can tell our story
This is what we offer you
Next to salary (scale 10), you will receive a thirteenth month and holiday pay
An additional Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out
Pension to which your contribution is only 3.5%
