Resource Manager Innovation Factory

Within the Rabobank’s Innovation Factory, based in our Headquarters in Utrecht, we help the bank to accelerate innovation. Part of this is collaboration with start-ups, scale-ups and other organizations. Next to that, we run our in-house accelerator to develop our products in a Lean Innovation way of working. We also give a lot of trainings on innovation.

We do this for various business lines and themes, so both in the Netherlands and internationally. The long-term objective is to make a concrete contribution to the improvement and renewal of Rabobank's business and /or revenue model and to help the organization become more innovative as a whole.

You and your job

You are contributing to the innovations we develop in the Innovation Factory by making sure we have the best people on board. Because in innovation, we know that people and teams are the most important factors! Finding the best people to work with, also via agencies we work close with. Managing these relationships, create ways to measure their performance, benchmark and further tweak the way we work together. Help us excel and accelerate by getting the best talents onboard. You will work closely with other colleagues within the Innovation Factory, including Micha Verhagen, Lead of the Innovation Factory (and your manager): this is a key role in the Innovation Factory that helps to attract, retain and get the best out of the best people.

Practical Examples

  • Planning and tracking of our people and people from external agencies (and freelancers) for the various innovation propositions  together with the account leads.  The account leads are the first point of contact for every business line we service. You match the needs of the business with the best candidates for the job. Keep track of the staffing of our people and align this on future needs to increase efficiency.

  • Scout and contract the best agencies and freelancers that can help us  out when needed. You help them onboard with Vendor Management and when needed offboard them smoothly. Maintain relationships with our Procurement/Vendor management department. Contract management and first contact to our external suppliers. Measure the quality they deliver, maintain relationships with them and make adjustments in agreements where necessary.

  • Support Team Leads in onboarding new employees, ensuring that new people can do their work from the first day on the job. Make sure all requirements around onboarding are met. Offboard employees who leave our team via our own WoW.

  • Help to recruit the best innovation experts for our Innovation Factory. Together with the Team Leads and Recruiter you create the vacancy, make sure it gets posted on our internal vacancy page as well as externally and create buzz around it.

  • Advise and support our Team leads on HR related topics. Advisor and go to person for all staff if there are questions/request on HR related topics.

Top Responsibilities

The resource manager maintains the resource planning: an up to date perspective on Innovation Factory’s involvement of our people in the innovation projects. He/she will help make the match between requests for support from the project teams and the people in Innovation Factory.

The resource manager is responsible for supplier management: contract management, maintaining regular contact with both our suppliers (on status of people involved in our projects) and our own internal contracting departments.

The resource managers provides operational support with onboarding and offboarding of our people. Ensuring that all requirements of Rabobank’s onboarding process are met (e.g. making all process updates in Workday) and the process progresses quickly and effectively.

You and your talent

For this position, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • You are service -and result oriented. Next to that you have an open mindset, you are able to act independently but collaboration comes naturally.

  • You have proven skills in negotiating, contracting and managing vendors (for example from a former procurement or vendor management job).

  • You know what is needed to recruit the best employees it the current labor market and have proven recruitments skills (for example from a recruitment job).

  • You have an affinity with innovation as a whole, and in particular with Design Thinking, Lean StartUp and Development.

  • You have experience working with Workday (must)

  • You’re a relationship builder and a connector.

  • You have a completed university or HBO degree.

  • Speaking and understanding the Dutch language is essential for successfully filling this position.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Dutch and English;

  • Relevant experience in complex data environments, preferably experience in Data & Analytics, modelling and IT;

  • Preferably experience with PEGA solutions.

  • A gross monthly salary based on salary scale 9 (depending on experience)
