Internship Overview Statement

Rabobank’s internship program is designed to provide a mutually beneficial relationship and growth opportunity for Rabobank and collegiate students. This experiential learning opportunity provides practical application and skills development in a professional environment and is aligned with Rabobank’s commitment to recruit top talent in the communities we serve.  While employed as a summer intern, students will have the opportunity to prove their ability to learn and demonstrate key skills that will make them successful at Rabobank. To aid in this endeavor, students will be matched with a mentor and provided the necessary professional development opportunities to achieve their goals. The internship will be full time, 10 week, paid program.

Department Overview

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and timely reporting of regulatory information to various regulatory agencies such as the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB), the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS), the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).

Job Overview/Purpose

Be part of the team that produces and analyzes financial and regulatory reports

  • Work with and analyze large sets of data. Ensure data integrity

  • Perform financial analysis to gain understanding and to document underlying business rationale

  • Help implement, test, and utilize an automated reporting system

  • Reconcile, monitor, and report on intercompany transactions/relationships

  • Assist department managers with bank-wide or Finance-driven initiatives / projects

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Contribute to a diverse team that produces and analyzes regulatory reports.

  • Work with and analyze large sets of data. Ensure data integrity..

  • Assist department managers with bank-wide or Finance-driven initiatives/projects.

  • Help implement, test, and utilize an automated reporting system


  • Complete all mandatory training within a timely basis, as instructed.

  • Comply with code of conduct & Bank policies/procedures.

  • Actively identify incidents outside of established policies & procedures and report to management immediately.

  • Familiar with & comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies & procedures that are applicable to required job duties.

  • Understand & comply with all RAF & Rabobank anti-money laundering (AML), compliance, and all other applicable laws, including, but not limited to, the completion of all required AML & Sanctions training.


  • Actively & consistently demonstrate Rabobank cultural practices.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 


  • On Track to complete (or have completed) a college degree


  • High level degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel



  • Accounting, Finance, or Economics major

  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior OR Senior pursuing a Masters in fall 2022


  • Will consider candidates in Honors’ program(s) first, if any

  • Overall GPA 3.2 and above.

Salary Expectations

Target Hiring Range:

This position is subject to the terms of Rabo Diversified Services’s compensation plans and policies.  It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range.  The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons.  Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to Rabo Diversified Services employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
