Project Manager

Imagine…
As a Project Manager, you can make a difference by managing one or more work stream(s) within the R4 Programme. This programme takes the global Rabobank organisation through one of the biggest transitions ongoing in the financial industry: the replacement of several key interest rate benchmark indices.

Making a difference
  • As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of a portion of the overall R4 Programme
  • You drive the planning and execution cycle for your work stream
  • You know how to handle yourself independently in stressful, complex and sensitive situations and have good prioritizing skills.
  • You maintain an effective communication flow, including regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that tasks and their dependencies are delivered on time and within budget.
  • You contribute to and facilitate an agile way of working.
  • You have the mind-set of being flexible and taking ownership necessary for this role.
  • You are a proactive person with an inquisitive approach and a natural talent to influence people.
  • You will work closely with service owners and product owners to ensure that project activities are correctly defined and prioritised on the backlogs of the (IT) teams.
With each other
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our R4 programme team is part of the Treasury department but has a Group-wide mandate. It brings talented people together to accompany the organisation through the transition from current benchmark rates (like LIBOR and EONIA) to alternative or reformed benchmarks. With you as Project Manager, the team will consist of diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including a programme director, data analysts and several other project managers. The team is highly motivated and driven to achieve the programme objectives with full commitment and integrity.

Raymond Monnik, Project Manager, “It is not often that you get the chance to be part of a programme of such magnitude and impact across the organisation. It is a rare opportunity and I really feel I contribute to the bank’s future. On top of that it is a true pleasure to work in this environment where we combine strong professional expertise with great team ethics”.

Growing a better world together
You'll already be aware that Rabobank is a financial services provider for 7.1 million customers in 40 countries. But did you know that we aim to contribute to real change with our 'Growing a better world together' mission? We do so in countless ways, such as:
  • We make sizeable annual investments in the voluntary sector in the Netherlands. This allows us to support about 1,250 sport and cultural organizations that are a second home to many people

  • We provide 500 million Euros in financing to the Dutch education sector annually because, after all, good education is the bedrock of tomorrow’s society
  • With the Rabobank Foundation, we support social enterprises. This gives people experiencing barriers entering the labor market the opportunities they deserve, and helps them to participate fully in our society
