We are driving the continuous improvement of the HR service delivery through 5 Solution Delivery Teams. The Solution Delivery Team for Core provides the foundation (in process and technology) for the other four Solution Delivery Teams (nl. Join, Reward & Recognition, Personal Growth and Integrations).
As a Product Owner for the global Solution Delivery Team for Core you:-
Embrace and drive the self-service philosophy for HR Products and services on a global level
Determine what needs to be done in the Solution Delivery Team for Core; you prioritise and align to achieve squad KPI’s
Create the roadmap for improving the (global) HR processes related to Core, as well as the enablement of these process through Workday and related tools
“Own” the product’s user experience and features
Involve (internal) clients to develop and validate the product
Collaborate closely with the Product Owners of the other Solution Delivery Teams to ensure that all elements of the end-to-end solution seamlessly integrate

The Product Owner for the Solution Delivery Team for Core is a member of Global People Services within HR. This department is responsible for implementing the standards for the global HR Solutions way-of-working, data management and Dutch payroll and other SAAS solutions working with HR teams worldwide. Standards that aim for a world-class, agile professional HR organisation that delivers business value through standardisation, simplification and digitalization, increased forecasting capabilities and proactive handling of services: high tech, high touch.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, across functional areas as well as across geographies. The Solution Delivery Teams, as well as HR at large operate in the Scaled Agile methodology. Product Owners contribute in crucial ways to this innovative way of working, aligning constantly between teams – ensuring that team members focus their time and efforts in an effective way.
Customer focus, collaboration, complex problem solving and customer centric thinking skills are are clearly essential competences / characteristics for the role of Product Owner. In doing so, you take responsibility for a high quality of service to your customers. You easily establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at different levels, across geographies.
In addition, it is important that you recognize yourself in the points below:
Bachelor or Master degree with at least 5 years of experience;
Good understanding of HR policies, processes and systems (ideally, Workday).
Experienced in product development preferably as a Product Owner;
experience in implementing and stimulating the FOCUS way of working (Lean / Agile);
Global mindset, experience with establishing and rolling out solutions across countries and cultures.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
