An area which is responsible for protecting the bank and our customers worldwide from the negative effects of financial crime. As a Product Owner Transaction Monitoring (TM) Retail NL, together with your squad, you have a profound impact on the TM area by being responsible for optimizing the TM model through tuning and back-testing activities. In practice this means that you have a big responsibility in ensuring that our models adequately identify (and hence prevent) financial crime activities. Your team will analyse data from various sources within Rabobank with billions of records and complex structures.
As a Product Owner TM you will:
Be responsible for one of the key areas within Tribe KYC Tech and work in a high-impact and high-paced environment.
Set a clear and transparent roadmap for TM Retail NL model optimization (tuning and back-testing activities), ensuring that deliverables are completed in time and with quality.
Liaise with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the Tribe KYC Tech such as Business, Compliance, and Operations to ensure effective model optimization, in line with the Risk Appetite of the bank.
Ensure that the requirements of stakeholders are translated into appropriate and feasible solutions and incorporated efficiently.
Through a continuous improvement mind-set, actively look for improvements in the current tuning and back-testing process, streamlining and automatic process where relevant.
Interact as a subject matter expert who provides vision and direction of solution to the development/data team and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with your Squad, manage the backlog and prioritize backlog items to make sure the most valuable product is delivered to customers first.
Provide transparent, timely and accurate feedback/updates on planning, progress and dependencies. Work with all Stakeholders to pre-agree the content of the Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
Participate and contribute to planning sessions on Area, Tribe (QBRs) and Squad Level (sprint planning).

As a Product Owner TM Retail NL you will interact closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify business; regulatory; technical and non-functional requirements and create insight in the dependencies between the delivery teams of the Tribe KYC Tech. This all with the overall aim to digitize and innovate KYC to protect society, customers, and our bank.
Execution focus, pro-activeness, solution-orientation, stakeholder management capabilities and stress resistance are clearly essential for the role of Product Owner. In addition, it's important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below:
At least 7 years of work experience as Product Owner or a similar role;
Professional knowledge of and experience with analytical and IT solutions (strong data component in role);
Experience with model development and model management practices;
Knowledge in the KYC domain; (inter)national risk and regulatory domains; and/or payments domain is a preference;
Extensive experience with agile working method;
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with digitizing existing processes;
Ability to involve and influence stakeholders at every (senior) level in proposals and build a valuable relationship;
Driven to keep your knowledge up to date with new developments in the industry;
Good at process-based thinking and simplifying things;
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and Dutch is a plus.
