Within Transaction Monitoring we are executing transformational change to become best in class. As part of our journey, we’re looking for a lead to help define our current and target state. Through the use of a maturity model and measurable performance and risk indicators, the lead will identify gaps and raise awareness of efficiency and effectiveness opportunities across the end-to-end value chain.

You and your job

Through the use of models and the evaluation of qualitative data, determine Transaction Monitoring’s long-term trajectory. Identify current levels, deficiencies and strengths, enable Transaction Monitoring to more ably recognise areas we need to improve. Use clearly delineated levels that provide self-assessment opportunities and identify strategies to encourage higher quality and enhanced performance. Track maturation through constantly testing, growing and improving.

Practical Examples

  • Use qualitative activities and levels to help teams transform behaviour into quantitative metrics.
  • Apply measurable performance and risk indicators such as employee accreditation, quality, productivity and consistency.
  • Use the model to create awareness of areas for improvement; help define strategies to raise the levels so teams reach their targets.
  • Facilitate cross-team initiatives (e.g. with Sanctions and CDD), encourage sharing of best practice.
  • Engage closely with Management Information, Tech and Operations teams to secure a data driven approach.

  • Provide flexible performance monitoring that can reveal valuable information about efficiency and effectiveness.

The Maturity Model KPIs & KRIs Lead in FEC Transaction Monitoring is responsible for defining, measuring and improving our maturity levels; they do this through the use of models and measurable performance and risk indicators. The lead will identify gaps and raise awareness of efficiency and effectiveness opportunities across the end-to-end value chain. You and your talent

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree;
  • Prior experience with risk frameworks and/or maturity models is essential;
  • Extensive experience working with MI, KPIs and KRIs;
  • Financial crime knowledge in particular, understanding regulatory requirements with regards to Transaction Monitoring;
  • Lean Blackbelt will be seen as favourable;
  • Experience with complex senior stakeholder management and high organizational sensitivity and integrity;
  • Ability to work at senior level and to communicate and report effectively to senior management;
  • A team player who enjoys collaboration and facilitation, you can bring different stakeholders together and come to a common understanding;
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written;
  • Social skills are above average, connect easily and are able to formulate clearly and to the point;
  • A lean and agile mindset, always seeking continuous improvement;

This is what we offer you

  • Up to € 8.111,27 gross per month (scale 11).
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
  • A combination of working from home and at the office.
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport.
