An average working day

Are you curious about what would be on your to-do list on an average working day? For instance:

  • Supporting the Business Support Team is an important part of the role. This includes dedicated support to the Head of the Business Support Team and to the Rabo Partnerships Teams, including travel arrangements and administrative support; 
  • Booking of travel arrangements for the MT and Rabo Partnerships Team, including visa, flights, and accommodation (via Egencia);
  • Subsequent provision of hands-on support to projects and various team processes, including planning, executing and monitoring of these processes;  
  • Independent gathering, processing, interpreting, writing, reporting and presenting information (related to communication, management information, travel data, etc.);  
  • Signalling opportunities and issues and prepare, align and execute improvement and ideas with various stakeholders.

Our Rabo Partnerships team brings talented people together to provide advisory services to financial institutions and food and agricultural value chains in developing countries and emerging markets; we make equity investments in selected financial institutions and create networks and alliances through partnerships with likeminded parties and explore new business models via dedicated projects. Our activities are mainly located in Africa, Latin America and Asia and contribute to financial inclusion, rural development and food security. The full Rabo Partnerships team consist of approximately 30 FTE, supporting around 150 Rabobank consultants.

With you as a Management Assistant, the Business Support team will consist of 4 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including Alice van Dijk, Assistant Rabo Partnerships: “Being part of the Rabo Partnerships team and assisting the project managers and team members, gives me a positive feeling. You will provide dedicated support to the Head of Business Support, Belén Barberis: “Our work entails supporting the different teams within the department on a variety of interesting tasks. This means that every day is different and that we need to engage and assist where needed. Frequent travel requests also need strong support from us. You and your talent

Customer focus, able to work under pressure, ‘one step ahead’ , proactive and solution oriented are clearly essential for the role of Management Assistant. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:

  • MBO+/HBO level;
  • Experience as management assistant;
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and, preferably, corporate travel agency Egencia (or willing to learn);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Dutch and English; Able to deal with stressful situations and to handle several tasks simultaneously, without losing the overview;
  • Managing all communication efficiently, prioritise and prepare follow up and/or handle it independently;
  • Strong affinity for Rabobank and the mission of Rabo Partnerships;
  • A discrete personality and able to deal with confidential information;
  • Service oriented and an eye for detail; strongly focused on providing optimal service;
  • Team player, flexible attitude and willingness to support your colleagues.

This is what we offer you

  • up to € € 3.441,64 gross per month (scale 6);
  • Holiday allowance (8%), 13th month and an additional budget of 10% to spend in several ways (including as additional salary);
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport. Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a home/work travel allowance;
  • A pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 3.5%.
