Junior Automation Engineer

Being responsible for everything concerning CI/CD Automation on Azure DevOps and our Infrastructure as Code environments on Azure Cloud.
As a junior automation engineer, you will be in charge of managing and automating a diversity of platforms within the organization. You will also help to build intelligent CI/CD pipelines, implement smart monitoring using artificial intelligence and machine learning, and improve our Azure Cloud landscape with services to enable the squads to deliver every day.
Besides regular support activities, you have contact with customers who ask for your advice and support.
As an automation engineer you can make a difference;
Within our IT4IT squad, we are responsible for helping 30+ development teams across the Tribe with their automation ambitions. We offer advice and help to improve these 30+ teams with their automation process, their CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code on Azure Cloud.
Making a difference
You are part of the Distribution domain and are responsible for helping teams to continuously improve their development process.
You and your team develop solutions on various cloud platforms like Azure Cloud, AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Siebel, Pega.
The teams have been set a goal to be able to deliver software to production within a week before the end of the year.
You are developing complete and scalable CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
These pipelines mostly reside on Azure Cloud, but we still have some Jenkins on Cattle environments on-premise which are moving towards Azure Cloud as a cloud solution.
You will help teams by implementing smart monitoring using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which considerably reduces the mean time to detect for squads.

a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
0 to 2 years of working experience.
Interest in Machine Learning and AI.
Eager to learn Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm;
experience with Azure Git as version control system.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
knowledge of and experience with Cloud (IAAS/PAAS) services like Azure Cloud or AWS;
fluent in Dutch and English on a professional level.
