As an Innovation Coach, you can make a difference by guiding diverse ideas from ideation to go-to market using lean start up, agile scrum & design thinking methodologies. You will be responsible for coaching teams to reach tangible business results and helping them secure funding to turn ideas into impact.
Making a difference
You support corporate innovation teams in their quest for new business opportunities. Jointly, you turn these opportunities into significant business value and new business models.
You guide teams to work in a structured and agile way through the different phases of our innovation process and help teams secure funding to progress to a next phase.
You support teams to go to the market faster, your responsibilities will include unblocking impediments and challenging existing business processes
You inspire the teams with the best practices in innovation, deep user understanding, experiment design and relevant tools and techniques. Where needed, you create new tools, playbooks or workshops that can be used on larger scale.
You coach team members on personal development
You guarantee a strong focus on understanding the customer & creating relevant experiments to achieve market validation. If needed, you are not only coaching the teams through this process, but also get your hands dirty and contribute to the content and ideas.
One day you might coach two teams on their innovative propositions, next day you help set up the strategy for a new accelerator. In between, you facilitate brainstorm workshops, ideation with intrapreneurs as well as scouted startups, strategic partners and train in-house ambassadors to spread the innovation virus.
You will work in a team with young ambitious innovation coaches who all have an entrepreneurial background and are motivated to change the way new services and products are developed.

Within the Innohub, a group of talented professionals is setting the direction and pace for our innovation and most importantly the execution thereof. We facilitate acceleration of innovation within Rabobank business lines, we partner and execute innovation with the outside world (Universities, Tech companies, Startups and Scaleups) and train and educate Rabobank employees to strengthen the innovative culture and workforce power.
With you as an Innovation Coach, the Innohub team will consist over 50 talented professionals. You will work closely with other designers, Lean Startup coaches, developers and product managers, including:

You are eager to challenge the status quo with your entrepreneurial attitude and ‘raise the bar’ mentality, are a natural collaborative person and active listener who invests in others to achieve common goals and you love to propose creative solutions to problems are clearly essential for the role of Innovation Coach. In addition, it's important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below:
We look for a coach with a minimum of 5 years off relevant experience.
You can demonstrate experience with doing customer development with large corporates and understand the dynamics of this particular context
You have substantial and relevant experience in business modelling (eg as startup founder, part of a startup, (venture capital) investor, a product manager, an entrepreneur ...) and understand the dynamics of new business models (beyond banking and/or platforms)
You have experience in applying lean start up or design thinking principles (eg customer development, experiment design), are creative, emphatic and have spot on facilitation and coaching skills
You have experience with corporate venture building.
You have a vision of how innovation should be done and the drive to teach, inspire and help colleagues to work according this vision
You have strong business analytical skills and can challenge a business case of a new venture, on-the-spot
You have a proven track record of generating tangible business results
You feel comfortable in the fuzzy front-end of an innovation process, where at the same time you bring structure and can manage progress in innovation projects
You demonstrate organisational sensitivity (ability to consider the dynamics of the environment (both opportunities & constraints) and know how to manage your stakeholders
Understanding the Dutch language is a must and needed to successfully fill this position.
