We are a mature team of 8 developers, 1 who focusses on business analysis, 1 who takes the lead in UX design, and the rest of us do front-end or back-end development (or both) on the bank’s mobile and web applications in the service of our retail customers.

We have the freedom to learn and experiment with our own engineering or product ideas, as an individual or as a team – we call this “Engineering Fridays”.We often sit together to tackle interesting problems.
We work in a monorepo environment and make use of a UI components library and fully automated CI/CD pipeline with 24/7 production deployments.
The Rabo app is built and kept up to date with the latest Angular version, as a hybrid desktop/mobile application based on Ionic. Other technologies include Redux, Jest and Webdriver.io.
For the backend, we work mainly with Java, Kotlin, Spring and Resilience4J to build and maintain our microservices that run on Cloud Foundry, which we monitor using Micrometer, SignalFx, Splunk and PagerDuty.
We use TDD when it makes sense, and we strive not for 100% test coverage but for confidence in our code and on quality for the end-user.
We work mostly from home and come together for social events.

You and your talent
You are an excellent frontend or full stack developer.
Your mindset is more important to us than your skillset – you can always learn the technologies we use.

This is what we offer you
up to max € 96.000,- gross per year, scale 9 40 hours
a thirteenth month and holiday pay;
