DevOps Engineer

SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) provides a network that enables financial institutions worldwide to send and receive information about financial transactions in a secure, standardized and reliable environment.

Within Rabobank, the Tribe Account & Payment Factory, Area Transaction Processing, the team Interbank Infrastructures (SWIFT) is responsible for the Run & Change of the SWIFT Gateway, Messaging Hub and Archive. More than 50 Rabobank Back Office systems depend it. Among other things, very high availability and security are key!

The SWIFT team consists of 21 employees divided into three squads. The three squads work Agile/Scrum/DevOps on one backlog, however every squad has a focus on its own primary Epic(s). For one of these squads, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who can help to get CI/CD and test automation to a higher level. However, in the context of Agile working (S@S), we expect a "T-shaped" participation in the team/squad you are working for.

Experience (sorted on priority):

  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD

  • Experience with AWS(/Azure) Knowledge

  • Experience with Infrastructure As Code (e.g. Terraforms/Ansible (Automation Platform)

  • Experience with structured testing in CI/CD

  • Experience with API’s (e.g. Oauth, Scim)

  • Experience with Perl, Python or Java programming language is a big advantage (however, no die hard developer)

  • Experience with shell scripting (bash)

  • Experience with PKI (keystores/truststores/csr/certificates)

  • Experience with network concepts (firewalls, loadbalancers, network segmentation) 

  • Know his/her way on Linux (RHEL 7 + 8) 

  • Knowledge with (cloud) monitoring/logging (e.g. Splunk and/or DynaTrace)

  • Optional: Knowledge about Docker

  • Optional: Knowledge with RedHat Fuse/IBM MQ/Kafka/JMS

  • Optional: SAML authentication

  • Optional: knowledge & experience with Splunk
