The Culture & Inclusion Manager has an important role within the North America region. This role is responsible for the success of the DEI efforts of the various business lines, the success of our Culture Ambassador Program and will run point for the Engagement Scan Results. Within the region we have a strong focus on DEI, with various (self) learning tracks, annual plans which are owned by the business, and DEI Champions in each domain. This role should focus on inspiring the business to execute their plans, inspire our Rabo Networks (Employee Resource Groups) to be successful, stimulate cross-domain sharing of ideas within our Rabo Cooperative Culture Community, and investigate together with various HR SME’s how we can make our HR practices more inclusive (e.g. talent management, leadership development, recruitment). Additionally, this position supports the Culture Ambassadors in leading culture initiatives throughout the region. We have a strong focus on our culture and our Culture Ambassador Program runs various successful initiatives within the region. Lastly, the role is a regional contact for the global Engagement Scan execution within the region. The position interacts with various levels within the organization, from middle management, Senior and Executive Leaders to the Managing Board.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Execute the Culture & Inclusion plans focused on laying the foundation for an enduring journey in building a sustainable and organic culture of inclusion.
Develop and implement strategies to monitor and evaluate regional-wide progress in creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of diversity working groups and communities.
Monitor employment activities such as applicant flow, new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions to identify potential areas of focus and other opportunities to promote diversity initiatives.
Provide consultation in designing and implementing institution-wide changes to ensure diversity, equity, and respect for all employees.
Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate culture & inclusion practices into institutional employment and workplace practices.
Partner with HR Business Partners, department heads, and other key stakeholders, to provide technical assistance, advice, coaching, and consultation to individuals and groups regarding cross-cultural conflicts and disputes, as well as policies and practices that might have an adverse impact on a particular group(s).
Stay abreast of regulatory and policy developments affecting areas of responsibility.
Further the Culture & Inclusion strategy for North America, partner with the diversity community, identify education opportunities for the region, identify key metrics and measures of success, develop a diversity recruiting program and diverse leadership development opportunities.
Work with domain heads to help them be successful in the execution of their DEI Action Plans.
Design and provide key metrics to measure efficacy of programs and efforts. Improve upon current metrics, delivering information, recommendations, and results on talent sourcing, hiring, employee engagement, terminations, and external employment branding.
Identify, partner, and liaise with external groups and internal stakeholders to raise organization’s employment brand with external organizations. Use relationships to build talent pipelines. Communicate opportunities for internal stakeholders to engage with external groups.
Partner closely with Talent Management on succession planning and development activities.
Encourage and foster employee ownership of D&I, providing learning and environmental opportunities for employee growth.
Complete all mandatory training

Bachelor’s degree required /Master's Degree preferred in Business Administration or HR related program plus 1-5 years’ experience in EEO, diversity, or managing global programs.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse workforce and provide leadership in organizational change.
Demonstrate ability to influence and partner with business leaders to assist in the development and maintenance of a Regional Diversity strategy that aligns with business initiatives.
Display understanding of cross-cultural, international, and diversity communication theories.
Exhibit presentation skills with sufficient knowledge and experience to provide counsel and recommendations to managers and HR in the area of EEO and diversity program initiatives.
Possess excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, diversity, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Show exceptional people skills.
