Compliance Officer Subsidiary Oversight
Imagine being part of a small team with a liaison role to the compliance functions of Rabobank’s independent subsidiaries, such as DLL, Obvion and BPD. As a Compliance Officer Subsidiaries Oversight you challenge and assist them to perform their compliance role up to the standards of Rabobank. You work on further development and enhancement of the global compliance oversight framework for subsidiaries and participations.
Making a difference
Together with your colleagues you are responsible for compliance oversight regarding subsidiaries and participations.
- You liaise with the compliance officers of independent subsidiaries and act as a strong sparring partner in executing the day-to-day activities of the functional responsibility of the Global Chief Compliance Officer. You maintain oversight of compliance coverage for all subsidiaries and participations.
- You collaborate with compliance colleagues of the Compliance Advice teams for Retail NL, WRR and C-Domains & Digital Transformation in their role to subsidiaries that are part of a Rabobank domain.
- You collaborate with colleagues of the Global Compliance Risk, Policies & Expertise and Global Compliance AML & Sanctions departments about global policies and standards applicable to subsidiaries.
- You create and enhance the framework and approach to the overall compliance coverage of Rabobank’s subsidiaries and participations.
- You act as an advisor to the Global Chief Compliance Officer in her contacts with the board members of the subsidiaries DLL, Obvion and BPD.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. This position is part of the Global Compliance Strategy Office. You report to the Manager Global Compliance Strategy Office. Our team brings talented people together to drive and facilitate Compliance’s internal management and to drive, monitor and challenge the execution of the strategic Compliance agenda. With you as Compliance Officer Subsidiaries Oversight the team consists of around twenty diverse colleagues in a variety of roles.

Customer focus, external orientation, collaboration, communication, influencing, organising and monitoring are essential for the role of Compliance Officer Subsidiaries Oversight. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:
University degree or equivalent;
You have experience (5-10 years) within an (international) banking environment (risk management), financial supervisor or regulatory authority;
Knowledge of the conduct and integrity risks pertaining to Rabobank
You are fluent in Dutch and English – both speaking and writing;
Experienced in working within an international context.
