Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Create and maintain partnerships with members of the North America Executive Team to drive HR strategy and strategic initiatives within their business/function. Is able to embed themselves as not only the HR SME around the management table, but a key business leader driving overall business success.
Utilizing strong business acumen, provides guidance to solve business problems with an ability to provide creative solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
Advisor on forward-looking business planning, including workforce planning, talent and succession planning, L&D and organizational design.
Challenges the leader’s way of thinking and/or decisions; is an executive coach to the leader and his/her team and builds leadership capability. Help improve productivity and employee engagement.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR COEs to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Utilizing an understanding of employment law, leads employee relations investigations, provides guidance on performance management issues and mitigates risk.
Is a member of the North America HR Leadership Team and partners closely with HR COE partners in Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development and Talent Management.
Act as a change agent to help drive transformation of the HR function in North America. Participate in projects as needed.
Builds strong relationships within region and globally with HR partners in The Netherlands and other regions globally.

Actively identify incidents outside of established policies & procedures and report through available channels
Qualifications:
10+ years HR experience with 3-5 years in an HRBP/HR Advisor role working with Senior/Executive Leaders
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Masters preferred
Experience in Financial Services preferred
Knowledge in all HR disciplines including compensation, recruiting, talent, employee relations, etc.
Knowledge of California employment law
Strong business and financial acumen
Strong analytic skills
Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to interact comfortably with executive management

Comfortable working in a complex, global organization
Role requires 20%-25% travel
