Our Rabobank Order Management Online (ROM Online) Squad is a group of people with talents for design, development, implementation and maintenance of the Order Management services. With you as a Junior Java DevOps Engineer, the squad will consist of 8 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles.
Being customer focused, collaborative, analytical, and stress resistant is clearly essential for the role. In addition, it's important that you are willing and capable to learn and you recognise yourself in the checklist below:
BSc/MSc in Computer Science or other relevant studies at an academic working level;
You embrace cross-skilling and are willing to learn and take over basic activities of other specialists on the squad (e.g. analysis, testing and operations);
Willingness to learn new (DevOps) tools;
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean and/or ITIL;
Willingness to learn and work with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps;
Willingness to learn and work with Cloud Solutions like Spring Boot, Pivotal Cloud Foundry and AWS.
Continuous improvement is the basic mind-set of the Junior Software Engineer, which is strongly focused on automating work in and around the squad;
Willingness to performing activities for Man of the Day shifts (e.g. being involved in chain monitoring with connected systems and the control room, review and approve changes within the chain).
