As part of the onboarding process at Rabobank we would like to receive some information before your start at Rabobank. With this information we can pay your first salary on time. As an employee you manage all your affairs in Workday. Your tasks will be ready for you in Workday. You will receive two separate emails which contain your username and password to enter our Workday environment.
Onboarding task in Workday
- Payment Election (Note: Just for employees, not for contingent workers)
Managing your payment choices is the first onboarding task in your Inbox. Here you will provide your bank account number for the payment of your salary. - Edit Government IDs (Note: Just for employees, not for contingent workers)
You enter your citizen service number (BSN) in the “Process government IDs” step. In this step we need a copy of the front and back of your (Dutch) passport or ID document as proof. Without this information you will be designated as an anonymous employee, including the associated higher (anonymous) tax rate. - Wage Tax (Note: Just for employees, not for contingent workers)
The payroll tax form, in which you indicate whether or not you want to make use of the income tax credit, can be downloaded in the respective task in Workday. The completed form with signature can be uploaded in the same task. - Edit Passports and Visas (Note: Just for employees, not for contingent workers)
In this step you enter the document number of your ID document or passport, if this has not yet been done by HR. If you have a visa and/or a foreign passport, you enter this information here. Then upload a copy of the front and back of your visa or foreign passport. - Update My Personal Information
Check whether your personal information is correct in our system. If correct, the task can be completed. - Update Home Contact Information
Check whether your address information is correct in our system. If correct, the task can be completed. - Upload your employment contract (Note: Just for employees, not for contingent workers)
In this task you can upload your employment contract that has been signed by both parties. This shall be added to your personal file.

Ask your manager if you are eligible for a laptop.
You can only pick up your laptop after your manager has informed you and after making an appointment at the location as stated in the confirmation by your manager. -
Please contact your manager. Smart cards can only be created after consultation and by appointment at the location as stated in the confirmation by your manager. This is a measure necessary to ensure that the onboarding process proceeds safely.
Do not forget: bring the proof of identity that you used for your screening with you when you pick up your smart card. -
Feel free to contact your manager by email or phone. If you do not have this information, please ask the recruiter for it.
-
The best thing to do is to contact your manager or buddy. Together you can come up with something for this.
Questions about my first day at work
-
On your first day of work, you will be given your laptop (if applicable) and a smart card will be created for you.
PLEASE NOTE:
– This can only be done by appointment and in consultation with your manager.
– Bring the legitimation that you used for your screening with you. -
Once you have collected your smart card, you can log on to your laptop and access systems and your mailbox. Earlier, you have already completed some important tasks in Workday and now there is a new set of tasks available such as providing an emergency contact and uploading your photo. Please complete these tasks as soon as possible.

Are you curious already? Read more in the chapter Rabo@Anywhere or ask your buddy or manager; they will be happy to tell you more. -
