Working with a high performance team on complex corporate lending transactions for Rabobank’s European and AfricaWholesale Clients (E&A), whilst being able to get the most out of yourself with an extensive personal development track offered through our Young Professional Program – Corporate Banking.

In Corporate Lending, our bank’s largest clients are being serviced to enable (sustainable) finance solutions in the 4 defined sectors and transitions, being the High Tech Digital, Real Estate, Food & Agri and Energy Transition.

The Construction and Real Estate (C&RE) team, focusses on clients which are active in the development, construction and investment of sustainable, social impactful and circular private and public projects and investments.

The High Tech & Digital (HT&D) team focusses on clients active in the Technology, Digital, Industry, Automotive, Wholesale and Non-Food Retail sectors. The Food & Agri (F&A) team focusses on clients active both in the Food Transition and Food Security in a sustainable matter. Finally the Energy Transition & Circularity (ET&C) team focusses on Clients active in among others renewable production, clean tech and mobility & transport sectors.

You and your future
As a Credit Analyst, you are challenged to make a contribution from day one, whilst developing skills and accelerating as a young professional. You will start within one of our Corporate Lending teams, where you will be given responsibilities that allows you to make a real impact. Whilst working on the job, you will be offered a 1,5 year program that focusses on your personal growth. This entails a personal development track, a combination of soft and hard skill trainings and network opportunities. On top of that, you have the opportunity to do a rotation to another department to further develop new skills and network.

You enjoy a steep learning curve, working in a stimulating and inclusive environment with (international) talented and ambitious colleagues and you are developing a network within the corporate departments of the bank whilst learning from your fellow Young Professionals.  

Making the difference with these activities

• Structuring transactions including sustainable finance solutions.
• Executing transactions by performing in depth credit analysis & financial modelling, presented in credit proposals.
• Preparing client visits and pitches, including actual client visits.
• Managing a dedicated portfolio of clients.
• Contributing to the four major global transitions through Rabobank’s strategic pillars Banking4NL, Banking4Food and Banking4Energy.

Practical

• Length: 1,5 year, 1 rotation.
• After: you will continue to work with us as a Credit Analyst Corporate Lending E&A.
• Hours per week: 40 hours a week.
   

Your development as a young professional
To become the specialist in Corporate Banking, during the program you attend courses that relate directly to finance and banking and that support your talent development. The courses are provided by highly skilled colleagues or external parties with a track record. As part of this program, we encourage you to build your network: you will meet many other young professionals in different domains, you will get acquainted with different departments within Corporate Banking and you will become part of our corporate banking community. On top of that, you will gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career.

You and your talent

• Master degree (preferably in (Sustainable)Finance, Business, Economics, Econometrics or Law).
• Passionate about and interested in corporate finance and banking.
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
• Proactive mindset and able to deliver results within project timelines.
• Ambitious and result-oriented.
• Good communication skills in English  (written and verbal), preferably also in Dutch.
