You and Your Job

As a Senior Developer you will be successful based on your in-depth technical knowledge and collaborative spirit

To perform all activities related to the design, development, integration, and implementation of organizational information systems and software applications at RDS.

In addition, you provide technical leadership and guidance to their work group, and as needed, may also be expected to manage a team of Developers. Scope of responsibility includes both custom-developed applications as well as the integration and customization of commercial off-the shelf applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates the development or integration of system/information projects from analysis through implementation.
  • Responsible for analyzing business opportunities, defining software requirements, designing, developing, testing, and integrating and documenting software applications in compliance with RDS development standards.
  • Coaches' end-users to effectively take advantage of system functionality and resources.
  • Provides RDS application support.
  • Backup to operations and end-user support function.
  • Demonstrates technical excellence, wide range of technical knowledge, good communication skills (written and oral), resourcefulness, creativity, initiative, and ability to quickly and effectively absorb and use new technology skills.
  • Responsible to proactively keep up with and recommend technology opportunities that will contribute to the company’s success.
  • Must be familiar with and comply with laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures that are applicable to required job duties.
  • Understands and complies with all RDS and Rabobank anti-money laundering, compliance, and all other applicable laws.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the VP - Senior Developer role, you must have:

  • 7+ years of overall experience in the Senior Developer role.
  • 5+ years, Understands the benefits of the various software design methodologies and object-oriented environments.
  • 5+ years, Practitioner of software design patterns including Dependency Injection, Strategy Pattern design, etc.
  • 5+ years, Competence in .NET development 4.6 or greater (Entity Framework, backend and API, including SOAP and REST web services).
  • 5+ years, Competence in .NET Core 3 or greater. Experience in .NET Core 6 or 8 preferred.
  • 5+ years, good understanding of MS-SQL/T-SQL – supporting existing stored procedures and new database development.
  • 5+ years, Experience with Agile practices and methodology.
  • 3+ years, Angular 8 or higher.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
