Would you like to contribute to the data protection of Rabobank worldwide? As a member of Data Protection Support (DPS) team which is part of the Global Privacy Office (GPO), you will advise and support colleagues, employees and clients in expert privacy matters, at the interface of privacy and information security!

You and your job

As a Privacy Officer DPS, you contribute by supporting the Global Data Protection Officer (DPO) in her regulatory tasks. DPS advises Compliance Advisors in expert privacy matters, handles complaints to the DPO, advises on Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA’s), assesses data breaches in a second line role, analyses new regulations, provides management information on those topics and supports the other pillars of the GPO: Policy Management Expertise (PME) and Data Oversight (DOS). You can make a difference by making sure we as a bank ‘do the right thing’.

Your top responsibilities

• Advising and supporting CITO and Continuity & IT Risk on privacy issues related to IT- and information security.

• Provide solicited and unsolicited expert advice to 1LoR and compliance advisors.

• Improve data protection awareness, information and organisation.

• Support the DPO in her required tasks.

You and your talent

• HBO with 5-10 years of experience or WO with 5-8 years of experience in data privacy and / or information security, preferably within an international financial institution.

• At least having one of the following certifications: CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM certification, the post executive course on Privacy and Data Protection Legislation at Tilburg university, Maastricht university or a similar training.

• CISSP or similar certification is preferred.

• Indebt knowledge of information security principles.

• Capable to function in a large, complex, international organization with a diverse stakeholders framework with different interests.

• Native in Dutch, fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Complex problem solving and customer-oriented attitude.

 This is what we offer you

• Up to € 5.655,50 gross per month (salary scale 9)/36 hours a week.

• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.

• An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.

• A combination of working from home and at the office.

• A pension scheme to which you contribute 5.5%
